5 top tips for visiting The Making of Harry Potter, Warner Bros. studio tour

For Christmas my sister gave me a brilliant present, a trip to The Making of Harry Potter, Warner Bros studio tour.

It totally lived up to me expectations, and I'll be posting some pictures of my visit in a couple of upcoming posts, but first I wanted to share some tips, so you can plan your own visit.  

Harry Potter at Primark

If you're a fan of the boy wizard and want to show your school pride, get down to Primark pronto. Hogwarts and House T-shirts are selling for a tiny £6.00 (1 gallon, 3 sickles and 11 knuts)

I'm about 5"6 and the shirt nearly covers my bum, they come in the usual range of UK sizes and have a relaxed fit with rolled sleeves.

Presents for a Potterhead

It's been six years since the last book was published, but the magic can live on with these Harry Potter inspired gifts:-

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the publication of the first Harry Potter,  new covers have been designed. Personally, I prefer the new covers, they look more dynamic, but  neither of the American covers can compete with the original British versions. Though the Harry Potter dust jackets aren't the most striking, (I remember when I was 10 resisting reading the first HP, as the cover made me think it was about train-spotting) I'm still nostalgically loyal to the originals.

Also, in other Harry Potter related news- I saw this advertised on the tube, Potted Potter, all 7 books condensed into 70 minutes, with only 2 actors. It's got some good reviews, so I might have to try and get tickets.
