Rob Ryan is an artist who specialises in paper-cutting. His designs are intricate and whimsical, they appear on prints, ceramics, textiles and jewellery. In addition, he has published three illustrated books, two of which I own.
To have a peek at some of the pictures of This Is For You (which would make a great valentines gift btw) and A Sky Full Of Kindness, have a look after the jump:-
First up, This Is For You, an optimistic story about solitude and looking for love.
A Sky Full Of Kindness would make a beautiful present for soon-to-be parents, as it is a sweet little story about an apprehensive bird who is going to be a mother for the first time.
I think the detail of the illustrations is amazing, and can't imagine how long it must take to make them using paper-cutting. What do you think?
